Stephen Bolden
Lead Pastor
Stephen has a passion for carefully unpacking the truths of Scripture one verse as a time. He has served at New Hope since 2010. He has a degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida, an MBA from Warner University and a Master of Divinity from Luther Rice Seminary. Stephen also serves as chaplain with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Lake Wales Police Department. Stephen has three wonderful sons, Reagan, Micah, and Josiah.
James Clark
Children & Families
James has a passion and vision for ministry to children and families. He has served at New Hope since 2015. Drawing from the lifelong values he learned from his parents, he desires to teach children and to pass on those same values and lessons – mainly, how to be a Christ-follower. James was called into vocational ministry shortly after going on a mission trip to Russia. He spent the next 22 years on the mission field in Russia and Ukraine ministering to children. James has a degree in accounting from West Georgia College.
Brian Montero
Worship & Youth
Brian has a passion for teenagers and worship. He has served at New Hope since 2017. Brian strives to lead both students and adults into a deeper and more intentional relationship with God. He has a degree in Ministry from Warner University. Brian is married to Sarah who works as a paralegal.
